ACCI Education Lifeskills
Curriculum Development Coordinator
Provo, Utah
ACCI is a national evidence-based provider of cognitive lifeskills courses and programs. Established in 1975, ACCI started with a focus on reducing recidivism rates through a cognitive behavioral approach to help participants address underlying self-defeating thoughts and behaviors. In working with juvenile justice agencies, we realized that we can and should expand into the education sphere, with the goal of reducing and eliminating the school to prison pipeline. Thus, Education Lifeskills was born. To this end, ACCI continues to partner with juvenile justice programs, agencies, and schools across the nation to enhance social and emotional learning in order to work preventatively in schools.
