Director of Data, Policy and Impact Strategy
Dr. Bonita Teasley currently serves as a Director of Data, Policy, and Impact Strategy, where she supports local, state, and federal entities in making data-driven impact decisions. Prior to joining the Sorenson team, Dr. Teasley managed and directed federal and state programs in several urban school districts in Texas. Her work experience as a public-school administrator encompassed overseeing the implementation of federal and state programmatic laws and local policies. With over 20 years of public school experience, Dr. Teasley has worked as an elementary teacher, special education teacher, campus administrator, and central office administrator in both urban and rural school districts. Dr. Teasley has an earned Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Planning in Executive School Leadership from the University of Texas at Austin, a Masters in Educational Administration from Prairie View A&M University, and Bachelors in Applied Learning and Development from the University of Texas at Austin. She holds state teaching credentials in elementary education, special education, and school leadership from Utah and Texas.
