Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Come learn how to implement a wellness area in your classroom to support your students’ social-emotional skills, decrease challenging behaviors, and increase self-regulation. Cozy centers can be created in any size classroom with any budget. You do not have to have prior experience with cozy centers to benefit from this session. This session provides guidance for developing cozy centers as well as recommendations for effective use. Participants will learn what elements and resources should be included in cozy centers, why cozy centers are useful, how to implement and use them with students, and other ways to support your students’ social-emotional learning. Cozy centers are especially useful in early childhood classrooms and k-12 special education rooms, but they can also be useful in regular education and older grade classrooms with some modifications.

Participants should bring a laptop, tablet, or smartphone to access web-based learning activities and resources to fully participate in this session.
