The USBE PCBL Framework defines "Learner Agency" as "achieved through a broad range of instructional strategies including goal setting, choice in learning path ways, voice in how to demonstrate competency, and learner self-assessment." These strategies also depend on a vital characteristic among our learners, self-direction. In this session we will model and explore instructional strategies educators can use to develop self-direction, self-reliance, and resilience in our learners.
