Fostering Trauma-Sensitive Schools Through Family and Community Engagement

In this presentation, we will be introducing and discussing the importance of family and community partnerships, its significance in creating trauma-sensitive schools, ways to achieve these partnerships to include examples of how students in Southern Utah University's Family and Community Engagement classes have implemented family and community engagement and how these partnerships can provide a support net for individual students and their families that focus on individual needs.
